Rasa is a contemporary residence nestled in a lush South Delhi neighbourhood, spread across 1.5 acres of meticulously designed landscape. Rooted in the idea of a ‘memory-scape’, the design seeks to evoke emotional resonance through crafted outdoor spaces that balance grandeur with intimacy. Each landscape element is purposefully seamlessly connecting with the architecture to create a cohesive spatial and sensory experience. The arrival unfolds through an imposing stone enclosure under a neem canopy, leading to a linear driveway etched with botanical patterns and a grand plaza framed by metal screens. A striking corten steel water feature anchors the entrance, inviting exploration toward expansive lawns and a Balinese-style pavilion nestled within tropical planting. Natural stone patterns, bespoke lighting, and curated art features define the garden’s barefoot luxury. The double-height lobby visually extends the landscape inward, while a floating metal bridge over rippled water links the lawn and house. Together, these elements create a tranquil yet expressive environment, blending artistry, function, and nature into a timeless residential experience.
